WAGE RISE

RESULT OF MOTOR WORKS STRIKE (Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received Mav 15, at 9 p.m.) MONTREAL, May 14. The strike in the Chevrolet Motor Coy’s plant at Toledo (as cabled ori April 30th) ended to-day. The wages have been increased by four cents per hour, thus raising the minimum wage Io ficty-fonr cents an hour. Time and a-half is being paid fo- the hours worked in excess of forty-eight hours per week.
