WESTPORT NOTES

(Our Own Correspondent.) An Evening Party: WESTPORT, May 14. A very pleasant little party took place last evening when Masters Alva Hansby and Pat Coyne, students of St. Kevin’s College, who are spending holidays with their parents, were the guests of Mrs Barry at a social gathering of young people. Dancing and games made the time pass all too quickly. A competition held during the evening was won by Miss Winnie Barry and Master Pat Coyne. Master Alva Hansby contributed a vocal item “Love Me and the World is Mine.” Mrs Barry was seen to advantage in a neatly executed Highland Fling. The tables were appropriately decorated with seasonable blooms and all did full justice to the good things provided. Bette Davis portrays the selfish girl, who holds Howard’s soul in bondage, and Francis Dec is the girl he. finally marries.
