The picture is based upon a thrilling spy story, the last best-seller novel by Robert W. Chambers, before his death. It centres around earlier years of the American civil war when the South was apparently winning and the Confederate forces dangerously threatening Washington, when the spies, both Union and Confederate, provided many of the dramatic incidents. Featurettes include Metrotone News, “Go’ofy” Alovies and Hal Roach musical comedy “ißhapsody in Brew.” Zane (t'rd.v’s thrilling production, “To The Last Man”, featurettes and the next chapter of the new serial will be shown at Saturday’s matinee.
