(By “Slipper”) The Reef ton Club has drawn good fields for its initial meeting and big contingents will be at the Show tomorrow to give them a “house warming.” The fields and handicaps are as follows:

Maiden Handicap (all 14 yards).— Pal o’Mme, Red Hope, Rocket, Paddy, Angelus, Merrimax, Dawn O’Day, Misfed. Hurdles.—Britomartis 12, Buckshee 15, Rangitira 164, Springer 18, Orion, Surefoot 19, Golden Direct 19|, Master Lu 20.

Novice.—(All 14yds.): Le Royale, Red Hope, Rocket, Jenny Lind, Paddy, Angelus, Merrimax, Sun Rose, Prince Author, Dawn O’Day, Misled. Middleweight.—Red Terror 64, Surefoot 124, Great Scott 13, Nova Belle 134, Windsor Lass, Lady Valerie, Paddy, Mintie, Sun Rose, Bonnie Bell, Prince Author, Golden Dollar, Walhalla 14.

Dogs who should perform well are Red Terror (Open), Paddy (Maiden), Golden Direct (Hurdles). Paddy (Novice) and Nova Belle (Middle). Gold Dust, who fell in the hurdles at the Greymouth A. and P. Show, will not. make the trip owing to injuries. Nova Belle is the most promising youngster in these parts and won on the second day at the Show in great style.

Some new names appear among the Maidens at Reefton, and may upset calculations.

Mintie showed a good burst of speed at the A. and P., 2nd Day, after being badly left.
