The Harbour Office last evening re norted that the depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 25ft sin. The Te Aroha arrived early yesterday morning from Wellington, with general cargo. She proceeds to Hokitika to-day. The Huanui sailed yesterday afternoon with coal for Foxton. The Kihvitea is due early this morning from Auckland, to load timber for Sydney. The Kaimai is scheduled to sail today with coal for Wellington. The Rata is due to-morrow from Wellington, via Nelson dud Westport and loads coal for Tarakohe. Picton and Wanganui. The Poolta is due to-morrow from Westport, to load timber and coal for Auckland. The Totara is due on Thursday from New Plymouth- to load c.ofi.l for return. A U S.S. vessel is due about February 25, to load timber for Melbourne. The Melbourne Steamship Coy's, steamer Mernoo is due at Greymouth on February 25, to load timber for Melbourne.
