(Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) MELBOURNE, February IS. Twenty-two picnickers were injured, six seriously, when a large motor-van crashed into an electric light standard • at Brighton, and overturned. Two sistoss Gladys Denniston, 20, and Dora pttinison, 17, are in a grave condition. Joseph Griffiths, of Coburg, was killed, and his step-brother, Philip Marks, was severely injured at Euroa. when a motor-cycle they were riding hit a fox as it raced across the road. The impact swerved the cycle into a tree. The fox was not hurt.
