Ten thousand spectators at Wembley cheered the world table tennis championship final. Viktor Barna narrowly defeated Szabados, after five exhausting sets. Both are Hun* garians. The match was played at a dizzy speed. Szabados. when racing after a smashing return, crashed and required medical treatment. This is Barna’s fifth championship, and his fourth successively. Barna and Szabados won the doubles final.
