After holding the Australian professional billiards championship for 27 years, Fred Lindrum, junior, lost the title to his nephew, the 21-year-old Horace Lindrum, when a fortnight’s match was concluded, Horace won by 9611. Horace Lindrum has also made a snooker break of 118. Joe Davis, of England, hold'? the world’s snooker record with a break of 114. Young Lindrum will apply for recognition of his record.
