COALITION CAUCUS
NOT IN AGREEMENT On Dairy Issue (Pen Press Association.) WELLINGTON, October 23. A caucus of Ihe Coalition Party was held this morning. At one o’clock, on the adjournment, Air Forbes said that it had not been possible to complete the business for which it was called. A caucus would be convened again nt the earliest opportunity, either tonight or to-morrow. The whole morn ing had been devoted to consideration of the report of the Dairy Commission and of legislation which had been prepared to give effect to some of the Commission’s major recommendations. Until there had been a further meeting of the caucus no legislation bearing on the problems in the dairy industry would he introduced. Tt is believed that the main feature of fTie legislation which the Government already has prepared is a provision for the establishment of a Council of Trade and Production.
