STRANDED STEAMER. \ ADELAIDE. October S. The latest report from the Captain of the Victoria, is that the vessel is still in a perilous position, ami was immovable by three tugs. The cargo will probably be jettisoned. Attempts to refloat the Victoria were temporarily abandoned, as high seas are running and waves are breaking over the vessel. DUKE IN WESTRALIA. PERTH. October 8. The Duke of Gloucester, on Sunday, Visited Fairbridge farm school, and inspected all the buildings. He received a most enthusiastic welcome from the four hundred Fairbridge Farm School boys. Tn shorts and bare feet, they ran cheering after his car. as he set off for Pinjarra.
