LARGE FORCE WITH ARMS (Received October 7 6 30 p.m.) MADRID. October 5. Asturias 1a- been re-cap'tured A message reported that several viil; ges in Asturias had been recaptured. after the rebels had been warm'd by air that they would no't
be granted quarter, unless they surrendered. Many rebels, are taking refuge in the mountains and in coalpits. It was stated that a majority of thirty thousand rebels there, armed with automatics were still resisting. There is heavy fighting in Oviedo, in which women loaded rifles for the menfolk, while Catholics were assisting rhe troops against the rebels, who were committing many outrages.
(Received October 7 at 6 30 p.m.) MADRID, October 7. Two infantry regiments attacked the rebels in Asturias, and after heavy fighting, captured at the bayoneit point the principal villages that were held by ten 'thousand rebels, who had fled to mountain strongholds. LATER. Sencr l.erroux. Prime Minister, declares the strike is crushed In Asturias. The War Minister has announced that the Government will be humane, but severe, in suppressing the revolt, and 'that everyone attacking the p'olice would be shot. r
