NORFOLK ISLAND. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable A.-sn.) CANBERRA, October 6. According fo a census bulletin Norfolk Is’and is becoming a retiring resort. The population by the 1933 census was 1231, an increase of 514 persions: or 51 per cent. This is attributed largely 'to migration from Australia, New Zealand and tlhe British Isles. Forty-five per cent, of the population have lived on the island for less than five years, while 77 persons are noted as having no occupations. Fifty per cenit. of 'the house rents are less than 10s a week.
