RADIO MEN’S STRIKE
ON U.S.A. SHIPS. (Ans. and N.Z. Calle (Received October 5 at 7.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, October 4. Hoyt S. Haddock, President of the American Radio Telegraphists’ Association, asserted to-day that two thousand wireless operators on American ships would strike on Tuesday. Their demands, he said, are for the abolition of the twelve hour day, and of duties other than radio operating; and for wage increases, for vacations with pay, and for recognition of their Association.
