SHOCK AT BROADCASTING HOUSE.

Science organisation rule the roost at the headquarters of the 8.8. C. in London, hut the officials there got the shock of their lives one evening a short time ago. A man who was scheduled to give a lecture to an audience of millions, and who had been schooled for weeks as to what to say and how to Say it, started his talk by making a fierce protest against the methods of the 8.8. C. and the way they had treated him. This "accident” so astounded the programme directors that several minutes passed before they could turn off the wouldbe lecturer and turn on a gramophone record instead. There’s only one remedy for shocks like this —a pipe of good tobacco.
