N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIPS. (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN. October 2. The New Zealand amateur billiardsl ehampionship was continued this aftermum and evening before fairly large attendances. The chief interest centred in the evening match between A-| Albertson (Lyttelton) present holder of i.he title, and A. Bowie, a wellknown Dunedin player, the game going to the former after a particularly exciting finish Tn the afternoon A. F. Vidal, of Milton. secured his second victory by defeating W. Le Gal (Dunedin) with 225 points to spare. Results were:— Albertson 666 (breaks 27, 28, 31. 54) average 6 —Bowie 649 (breaks 45, 44 40. 27), average 5 8. Vidal 666 (42. 39. 38. 35. 32). average 7—Le Gal (breaks 35. 27, 24). average 47.
