RADIO ADVERTISING. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received October 2 at 10.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, October 2. Addressing the annual conference of the Australian Federation of Broadcasting Stations to-day, Air A. Parkhill, Federal Postmaster-General, expressed the hope that an honest attempt would be made to reduce the volume of advertising talk from, the B Class stations. He added that it would lie a fine thing, too, if the advertising announcements were eliminated from the Sunday programmes.
