town Settlers’ Hall, to he held tonight, should be an outstanding success, and those wishing to forget their worries and troubles, and wishing for an evening’s real enjoyment, should not fail to attend the “Pack to Childhood” Ball. The Committee have com pleted all arrangements. The floor is in first-class order, and will be in charge of a most efficient M.C. The music will be supplied by the Happiness Boys’ Dance Band, and to suit all, the programme will consist of both old time and modern dances. The supper arrangements are in the hands of a most energetic ladies’ committee. Prizes are being given for the best ladies’ and gent’s costumes, so rake up some treasured relics of your childhood days, and be with the crowd at Barrytown to-night. The Committee have made arrangements for Newman’s bus to leave Greymouth at 9.15 p.m., and for Wylde’s bus to run from Runanga. In order to avoid disappointment, book at once.
