NEW PLYMOUTH, August 24. Owing to heavy seas during high titles since the small motor vessel Kapui went ashore at the mouth of the AFokau River on Wednesday, the prospect of refloating her is not so bright. The upper works have been extensively damaged, and the vessel is firmly wedged by sand drift. Most of the coal cargo has already been salvaged.
