STEEL WORKS
PROJECTED IN NEW ZEALAND. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON. August 23. After a thorough tour of New Zealand inspecting many possible sites foi the establishment of steel works, representatives of the Pacific Steel Coy , Ltd., and consulting engineers from the firm of Brassett and Coy., have comple'ed their investigations,- and will be leaving Auckland on Monday. They will furnish reports to their principals at London and Chicago, and at the samp time to the New Zealaond Governmei t. which has been assisting in th P investigations. Upon the nature of this report depends whether action will be taken or not. It is understood that fifty acres of reclaimed Harbour Board land at Dunedin is regarded as a most suitable sit e for the proposed works, and it is one affording best access by water and rail.
