FATAL FALL

FROM TRAMCAR (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND', August 16. Fatal injuries were received by Airs Catherine Goodwin, aged about 38. of Ponsonby, when she fell from an inward bound tramcar in Karangahape Road. She was taken to the hospital in a taxi, but was dead on arrival. As far as is known, there were no eyewitnesses of the accident. It is believed Mrs Goodwin was* standing on the front platform of the tramcar. which was slowing down for a stop, and lost her balance. Sh e fell heavily, striking her head.
