BOYCOTT OF AUSTRALIA
By Lancashire Grocers OBJECTION TO TARIFF. (Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received August 15 at 7.10 p.m.) August 15. The Lancashi.ye Cotton . Manufaciurers’ Organisation have sent a delegate to London to see Mr Runc!p'.an (President of the Board of Trade), and Mr S. Bruce (Australian High Commissioner), in reference to Australia’s cotton duties. The question of organising a boycott of Australia's dairy produce is being now considered by the Grocers’ Associations in a number of the Lancashire towns.
