MAGISTRATE'S COURT

The following debt cases were decided at yesterday’s sitting of the Magistrate’s .Court, before Mr Henry Morgan, S.M.:— Judgment by default for plaintiff was entered in each of the following civil claims: Andrew Robert Thompson v. Harry Jamieson £2/15/-, costs £l/3/6; John .Davidson v. Ronald Mclnnes, £l2, costs' £2/14/-; G. M. Truman v. A. E. Barton, £B/3/3, costs £l/12/6; William Fisher v. G. McCloud, £6/9/2, coste £l/10/6.

On a judgment summons, W. G. Collins was ordered to pay forthwith £l/14/11 to Harris and Dobbie, in default two days’ imprisonment. Clarence Hunt was ordered to pay £2/12/7 by instalments of 7/6 per week, with the first payment on August 21, to S. M. Case. J. F. Warren was ordered to pay £4/8/6 on or before September 25, to Furniss and Spinks, in default five days’ imprisonment. B. Broomhall was ordered to pay £lO/8/-, with solicitor’s fee £l/1/-, forthwith to David Wallace, in default 12 days’ imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended so long as dedefndant pays 15/- per week, with the first payment on August 21.
