Mr 't vens, whether it was true that the Government had received an offer of five million pounds for the trams of Sydney and Newcastle; and, if so, ' ouid he give Parliament an opportunity of discussing the matter. Mr Baddcley declared that the I abour members were strongly opposed to the sale of the trams, especially ..s the revenue from them is now inTh?
