The death occurred suddenly yesterday a-t Blenheim of Mr Thus.. Pike, a farmer. He belonged to a pioneer Marlborough family, and is a brother of Mr W. D. Pike, of the Wellington Education Board.

A Nelson wire states that Bishop Sadlier and Airs Sadlier were farewelled at a crowded diocesan meeting at Mandril Church House, Nelson, on Monday evening. On Monday Prince George conclude ! his tour of the Union, and crossed the border into Bechuanaland, near Gaderones. He travelled 16,500 miles and visited 44 centres. Tn a telegram of farewell, the Premier, Air Hertzog, asked Prince. George to assure the King that a hearty welcome was received from all sections of the people. The Prince, replying, expressed the hope that a revival of prosperity would extend throughout Ihr whole country. Mr G.. B.
