(Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. January IS. The New Zealand croquet championfhips will begin at Christchurch, tomorrow, with total entries of 266. For the first time, an Inter-Island teams match has been arranged, six players on each side. The teams are:— North Island: Mrs Watkins (Hastings'). Mrs Caldow (Wellington), Mrs Anstis (Palmerston North). Stratton (Hastings), Al. L. Hartnell (New Plymouth!, and A. J. Gibbs (Patea). South Island: Mrs Maddren (Christchurch). Mrs Forbet (Dunedin), H. J. Williams. A. G. Ross, H- A. Penn and S. McCullough (Christchurch).
