NOTES '•’lie Harbour Office last evening re ported that the depth on th e bar at high water yesterday was 25ft Jin. Th e Kaimai arrived earl\ yesterday morning from Wellington. She is scheduled to sail today with coal and timber for Wellington and New Plymouth. Th e Karepo arrived in the roadstead yesterday afternoon from Wellington,. She will berth early this morning, and after loading a small quantity of coal will proceed to Westport to complete lor Gisborne. The Te Aroha left Wellington early yesterday morning, and is duo to-day with general eargo., After discharge sho proceeds to Hokitika to load for Wellington. The Kaimiro leaves Auckland this afternoon with cargo for Greymouth, proceeding via New Plymouth. After discharge here she loads timber for Sydney. The Rata left Onehunga on Wednesday for New Plymouth. Nelson. \\ e-tport and Greymocth. On arrival here she loads coal for Picton and Wanganui. The- Kalingo leaves Newcastle today for Pyrmpnt Berth, Sydney. 1 hence Auckland, Tauranga, Wellington, Lyttelton and Greymouth, and wil] be available for any cargo offering at Sydney for Greynnouth. Mr D. Luckett is now second

officer of the Kalingo, having relieved Mr Ci. H. Adams for holidays. The Kaimai. which has just been recommissioned at Wellington, has th,, following engineers:—Chief, Air C. Broadlev; second. Mr W. M. Jackson; third. Mr M. McLeod.
