(pe r Press Association). WELLINGTON, June 19. The weather report and forecast uro as follows: —General situation: An anti-cyclone still covers Australia. Pressure is rather high across the South Tasman Sea. To the east however, it remains ]ow, and a. cyclone is developing in the North Tasman. Forecast: Winds south-west to south-east, later becoming more easterly, and freshening, especially in and north of Cook Strait. Seas (N.Z. waters) A heavy south-easterly swell south of East Cape; otherwise smooth to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Winds between south-east- and north-east, freshening in the far north, but otherwise moderate; seas smooth to moderate Weather: Cloudy in the eastern districts and in the far north, with scattered showers or misty rain, but mainly north of Kaikoura; elsewhere, fail to fine. Very cold temperatures; some fog; hard frosts.
