The condemned are. placed in special hut. A rope is tied to a stout hook above each bed. When one is shot or hanged the others are taken to see. the body and invited to commit suicide. All inmates of the hut are whipped nightly. Herr Arthur Former, section-leader of the Reiehsbanner. was kidna-pped iu Berlin, and beaten to death at. Schoenberg, the Nazis declaring that he hanged himself in a cell.
