Conducting her suit in person, Lady Hunter, a.t the coming sitting of the Court of Appeal, will appeal against the order made by Mr Justice Blair in November last, dismissing the application she made under the Family Protection Act for maintenance out of the estate of her late husband, Sir Geo. Hunter. A Wellington barrister of long standing commented to-day that, to his knowledge, a woman had not conducted her own case in the . New Zealand Court of Appeal, but he understood that it was not wholly unknown in England.
