NO RATIONALISATION
BRITISH SHIPPING PROJECT DROPPED. (Aus. & NS. Cable Assn.) (Received Juno 19 at 10.45 pm.) LONDON, June 19. The Council of the Chamber of Shipping have decided not to proceed with their rationalisation proposals as cabled on June 2, owing to insufficient support. AUSTRALIAN FREIGHT CONFERENCE. SYDNEY, June 19. Representatives of shippers and shipowners from all parts of the Commonwealth to-day met at Sydney for the annual freight conference. It is understood that the Blue Star Line is desirous of entering into the Australian trade with one ship monthly.
