RANFURLY SHIELD. CHRISTCHURCH, June 14. At the meeting of the Canterbury Rugby Union. it was reported that the New Zealand Rugby Union had asked the various Unions to submit suggestions for possible revision of the regulations governing the competition for the Ranfurly Shield. Canterbury’s only recommendation was that the Ranfurly Shield matches .should be arranged so as to interfere with club football c..s little as. possible.
