The Harbour Office last evening reported that the depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 23ft. The Titoki is duo back on Thursday from Wanganui to load coal ami timber for that port. The Kiwitea. is due about Juno 19 to load timber for Melbourne and Adel aide. The Kaimiro is due to-day from Wellington to load coal for Auckland, via Westport ami New Plymouth. The Kanna is due on Saturday from Wellington to load coal for return The Kini haves Wellington on Thursday for Greyniouth, with general cargo. The lluanui arrived ye.-torday morning from Foxton, f y load coal for return. She is scheduled to sail to-day. THE WAIPARA. Gid residents on the West Coast will remember the old trader Waipara which at one time carried on trade with the West Coast ports. In later generations she has become a name only.
