The heavy frosts of the past few days have rendered the streets very slippery and unsafe in the early morn in'-, and particularly on the Black’s Point road where the sun’s rays fail to reach the road, the footpath is distinctly dangerous, and more than one have sustained heavy fails. The County Engineer has thoughtfully had sand placed on the concrete footpath at the Bank of N. Z. corner in Broad* way, making it safe for pedestrains
