MURDER MYSTERY

Millionaire and Secretary (Aus. & N.Z, Cable Assn.) VANCOUVER, May 14. Queer circumstances are associated with the murder of Albert Ridley, an aged millionaire realtor, and his secretary, Lee Weinstein, in the basement of their office. Weinstein was Ridley’s second secretary to be murdered. The former secretary was killed in exactly the same manner, by the same calibre bullet. The police fear there is no method of proving which died first. The murders were so carefully carried out that they will be difficult to solve. Ridley, who lived a monastic existence, left 200,000 dollars in his will to Weinstein, if the latter survived him. Weinstein left two wives, who promise to sue the octogenarian’s estate for a substantial division.
