THE MAIN MEASURES 38 Government Acts (From Our Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, ‘ March 10. An eventful session of Parliament ended to-night, after a sitting lasting seventy one days, thirty eight Government acts were passed, and assent was given, and thirteen local Acts. The principal measures of the Session were:— Conversion of Loans Bills. Banks Indemnity (Exchange) BillMortgagors and Tenants Relief Bills. Sales Tax Bill. Government* Railways Bill. giving authority to the Government to sell or lease abandoned or uncompleted lines. Small Farms Relief of Unemployment Bill. , The session. was. closed with the usual valedictory references
