The position created by New Zealand’s embargo on fruit dismissed. and it. was agreed that other trade difficulties with New Zealand should be examined. The proposal to send a Commonwealth Minister to the Dominion was not adopted. Instead, the New Zealand Government will be invited to send a representative here. Mr. Lyons said that it. was the de sire of the Commonwealth Government to endeavour to bring about the development and extension of trade between the two countries.
