Irishman’s Will (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received February 22 at 10.15 p.m.) LONDON, February 21. Mr Patrick Lawlor, a native of County Kerry, Ireland, who went to Australia as a youth, died recently at Rome. He left £108,438, exclusive of assets in New South Wales. His bequests include £lOOO to the Kerry poor. Half of his residuary estate is Requested to the Pope for the propagation of Roman Catholicism. Mr Lawlor also left shares worth £28,230 to Archbishop Mannix, of Victoria, and to other Australian Prelates he left large sums to establish Homes in Australia and to found a Catholic newspaper and to complete the eon struetion of certain churches. His widow receives a life interest in their house and the contents, which thereafter will go to charitable institutions.
