The police have seized all of the copies of two of the owning papers here. Meantime a war against Marxism and Communism is being conducted with unabated vigour Vice-Chancellor Von Papen and General Goehring have appointed Police Canimander Von Hcydekamp as Special Commissioner, with extraordinary powers, over the Rhineland and Westphalia. lie intends to arm the Nazi Storm Troops and to use them as auxi liary police. Thi s appointment brings all of the police ami gendarmes of the Rhineland und<r the orders of Chancellor Hitler, who is determined io crush the Communists in the industrial areas. A Stuttgart message states that a broadcast of Herr Hit’or's • lection speech from the Town Hall there was suddenly interrupted and it was not resumed. It was discovered that the wires to the radio station had been cut.
