SUMMER FLOWERS

ST. JOHN’S DISPLAY. Although the numbers of exhibits at the annual Summer Show of the St. John’s Horticultural Society, which was held yesterday afternoon in St. John’s Hall, were curtailed through the bad weather of the past week, i those on display were of a good standard. Mrs P. J. McLean’s trophy for the most points in the Decorative Section was won by Miss C. Tennent. while Mrs. Shallcrass secured both Mrs. J. Leitch’s trophy for the best [decorated table and Mrs. W. Steer’s trophy for the most points in the cut flowers section. The judges, Mrs. Thomas and Miss D.
