MAKURA CLUB COMPETITION. The social and competition afternoon conducted by the Makura Croquet Club was largely attended and keenly en joyed. The golf croquet was won by Airs Whibley, the putting competition by Miss Hambleton, and the hooprunnnig competition by Miss Hambleton. Section, first round: Airs Tennent beat Mrs Smith; Airs Whibley beat Mrs Hannan. Second Rm.nd: Mrs Tenficnt beat All’s Alercer; Al r s Whibley beat Mrs Davies. Final: Mrs Tennent beat Mrs Whibley. B. Section, firs! round: Aliss Hambleton beat Mrs Coburn; Mrs Reynolds beat Mrs Topliss; All’s Warnes beat Mi’s Thomas. Second round: Aliss Hambleton beat Aliss Sheedy; Mrs Reynolds beat Airs Warnes Final: Miss Hambleton beat Airs Reynolds. C. Section, first, round: Mr s Robertson beat Alas Fogarty, by default; Aliss Pratt beat Airs Alurray, by default. Second round: Airs Robertson beat Mrs Hambleton, by default; Airs Haglund beat Aliss Pratt. Final: Mrs Robertson beat Mrs .Haglund. Mrs Tennent, Afr s Robertson, and Afis s Hambleton -will play against the Other West Coast finalists, at the tournament, commencing on Fbruary 20th.
