The weather forecast is as follows:— General situation; Pressure is high in southern latitudes from Tasmania to eastern New Zealand, but has fallen slightly since last night over and west of tile North Island. Forecast: Winds variable in the far north. Ivit elsewhere moderate south to west winds prevailing. Seas (N.Z. waters): Rough north of Farewell Spit and Ka.ik.oura; nnoderajtc thence southwards. Tasman Sea: Fresh to strong south to ease, winds, and rough seas. Weather: Still cool and cloudy. 1 Fur ther rain is probable in most districts but more especially the. eastern and northern portions of the Nor h Island, where someheavy falls are still likely. Weather fair on the West Coast and in the far south of the .South Island.
