An alteration in tin* itinerary of Sir Charley Kingsford Smith’s New Zealand tour, to enable him to take a week’s rest, is <inuounced. In the course of the South island visit, the Southern Cross will arrive at Christchurch on February 11, ami it will bo there until the following Monday, when it was plat...<*d to visit Timaru. Af this stage, however, Si r Charles will defer all of his visits for a week, arriving at Timaru on February 20, insto.id of on February 13. He will take a week’s holiday ami leave the Southern Cross to be thoroughly overhauled and prepared for the return trip. All of the towns in tho original itinerary will he visite d. lie plans to commence thp return flight from Ninety Mile Beach to Australia between March S and 11.
