The J"alnicrston North Chamber of Coiniiicrcc last evening decided to request the Associated Chambers of Commerce to call a conference representative of the primary industry, manufacturin'*- business, and commercial interests, to consider and devise a common plan t” assist the country through the depression, for submission to the Government, prior to the re-opening of Parliament.
