FEDERAL INTERNAL LOAN. NEARLY £3,000,000 FOR BANKS. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received December 7 a t 9.30 p.m.) CANBERRA, December 7. The Prime Minister, Air J, A. Lyons, to-day announced tho result of the Commonwealth 3$ per cent eight millions interna] loan, which closed on Alonday. Tho total amount subscribed was £5.086.000 by 4151 applicants. As the loan was underwritten by the Commonwealth and the trading banks, th p balance will bo subscribed by them.
