An Auckland Frvss Association telegram states that two residential scholarships of £6O per annum, given by the Marist Brothers, and tenable at Sacred Heart College, Auckland, for three years, have been won by Vincent Roigard, of Matamata, and Kevin McCarthy, of Auckland. Sir William Hall-Jones, Sir James Allen, and was with Mr Downie Stewart in the Reform administration. Tn 1917-18 Mr Matthews served with the.
