CAMBRIDGE V. OXFORD RELAY RACES. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) LONDON, Decernnbr 3. At the inter University relay races, Cambridge won the four hundred yards, the mile, the 480 yards high hurdles, and also the two miles, doing the last named distance i n seven minutes 58 2-5 seconds, thus equalling the record. Watt, a New Zealander, ra nfor Oxford. The Oxford team, including Davies, of Geelong, won th e half-mile low hur dies in 103 seconds (a record); and also (the team including Lovelock, the New Zealander) won the four miles. Lovelock sat for an examination early in the morning, and he was flown to the course. lie ran a great last lap, winning by sixty yards. The half mile was declared void owing to doubtful measurements after Cambridge had won.
