GRAN CHACO WAR

Paraguayan Success (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn). ASUNCION, September 22. An army communique on Thursday night, announced that Paraguayan troops had taken one hundred metres of Bolivian trenches, in the Gran Chaco, and that 72 Bolivians had been killed. This is tho first definite announcement of casualties in nearly two weeks of a struggle for the possession of the stiategic Fort Boqueron.
