Floods Threatened SYDNEY INUNDATION. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn). (Received September 22 at 8.45 p.m.) SYDNEY, September 22. Torrential rain fell in the coastal districts of New South Wales to-day, and it is continuing. There is a very real danger of floods in the dairying districts. There was a regular deluge in the city. The water at times came over the footboard of the trams, and also penetrated into houses and basements, causing considerable damage. Waterlogged motor cars were quite a common sight, and they had to be towed away. It is expected that the conditions will moderate overnight.
