Gar Wood drove Miss America the Tenth over a measured mile on the St. Clair River to-day, at 124.91 miles a:i hour, in the attempt to recapture tho si’.iicdboat record. Then ho shot downstream at 125.42. Ho started another trial upstream at 122.17. Ho gave up at the end of tho third mile.
