OPERA HOUSE TO-NIGHT. 1 ‘THE YELLOW TICKET.” Elissa Landi and John Barrymore arc featured in ‘‘The Yellow Ticket,” to be finally screened to-night. FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. “THE DUDE RANCH’ —WESTERN COMEDY ROMANCE. Actors play the parts of actors in “Dude Ranch,” Jack Oakie’s Paramount comedy, with the big name supporting cast, to be screened Friday, Saturday’s matinee and evening. The story, based upon Alilton Krim’s humorous novel, 44 The Lone Rider of the Alojave,” reveals the fun when a travelling troupe of stage performers take over the amusement concession at a guest house in the Rockies. Oakic is seen as the star actor. The others are Eugene Pallette, Mitzi Green and Cecil Weston. Arriving at the ranch owned by Stuart Erwin, they suggest rhat he will be making things inter esting for his patrons, if he allows them to dress up as characters of the old West, and put on a few realistic scenes in the vicinity of the hotel. The stunt works, ami th<> patrons get all thrilled over .the gun-flourishing deeds of the “ Westerners. ” June Collyer, prettiest guest at the hotel, becomes enamored of the rough-riding sure-shooting Oakie. Outlaws hold >’p the place, but Jack finally assists in bringing the real desperadoes to justice—and (p.s.) he gets the girl. BLACKBALL TO-NIGHT. “Local Boy Alakes Good” will be screened at Blackball to-night. RUNANGA TO-NIGHT. “Lovers Courageous” will be screened at Runanga to-night.
